There are many people who call themselves a Christ Follower, but if you look at their conduct, it seems they’re more an enemy of Christ, not a follower.

With the pressures, trends, and social climate around us, it’s very easy to become a self indulgent Christian.

Self Indulgent Christian. Is there such one? It’s like saying “Illiterate English Teacher” or “Overweight Personal Trainer”. “Child Hating Disney Employee”.

I have a fear of being “one of those”. The Christ follower who claims Christ, but doesn’t live up to His model of living, selflessness, love, and sacrifice. I don’t like the word sacrifice.

Do I really live to please Christ? Or do I really live to please my current appetite?

Is prayer that inconvenient? Am I really that busy? Am I so consumed with work that I can’t stop to worship God?

Am I really headed for destruction because I can’t put the things of the earth second to God?
