Every leader in our church this year will focus on one. Uno.
That’s one person that needs to know Jesus like we do. Just one.
Regarding the discipleship process in churches, we’ve had to admit to ourselves that CLASSES AND PROGRAMS AREN’T WORKING.
Crap. Those were so easy to do. They required little love, little time, little effort. Little blood.
We saw little fruit.
We’re going to spend 365 days focusing on love and Jesus with one person who is hungry.
It’s highly relational. Not content driven, but love driven.
The goal is to train a healthy, fertile, legit disciple of Christ. Disciples make disciples. I’m tired of churches being a Sunday morning show talking about the Gospel, but never really living it, or moving people along the narrow road of it. It’s 2009. We’re running out of time people.
I’m tired of churches not being fertile or reproductive. If it’s living, it reproduces. It’s so possible to be an existing church but have no life – no reproduction. Scary. Matthew 7? Yes. Many will come to Him on that day…
What’s the point of this? Dream with me tomorrow.
