I’m not a political expert
29Oct08
But I am an American. Here’s some things I believe.
I believe:
- donkeys and elephants are sycophants
- we need drastic change
- drastic change doesn’t come by electing empty promises
- America will elect whoever promises THEM the most
- neither candidates are leaders
- the majority of politicians don’t have America’s best interest at heart, if you define “America” as “We The People”
- journalism is dead. Most of the media is propaganda
- far too many people get their information from lazy, inaccurate sources
- shedding innocent blood is damning
- we need to take care of our environment
- our economy is a facade filled with false activity
- the government’s job is to protect, not oppress
- we don’t have all the facts. We think we do but we don’t
- you don’t deserve to lead to America when you’re not generous – 1% isn’t generous
If Obama and McCain where sitting in my office, I’d ask them these questions, and if they started walking around the issue, I’d rudely and sarcastically ask them to leave and find me someone who could answer a simple question.
- How will you not lie or betray The People?
- Do you fear God and realize you and America are a limited superpower?
- Do you know the definition of socialism? And if not, where can I mail you a freaking history book?
- How do you justify protecting unborn animals and species while you advocate killing an estimated 40 million innocent babies?
- Why are Americans getting the worst education in the world? What are you going to do about it in the first 90 days?
- How will you guard against agendas from the elite?
- How have you not become that which we despised 232 years ago?
- How will you not only stop debt spending, but contribute to paying down the national debt? What are you going to do about it in the first 90 days?
- How will you be a husband and father?
- How will you stop “the greatest transfer of wealth”?
- How will you lead America to energy independence? And please put a timeline to it.
- How will you secure our borders while streamlining the immigration process for those that want to become an American?

I am on board with most of your belief list there but if you interviewed me with those questions, I would be rolling my eyes and walking out before you could throw me out.
Matthew: What would your questions be? How are you going to stop the earth from heating up?
