On April 27th we’re starting a new series called “sixtees”. It’s a weird spelling of the 6 T’s that John has come up with.

Basically, we will teach the fundamentals of being a full court follower of Christ.

I can’t wait to see the light bulbs turn on!

Regarding our service, we are going to take a sharp left turn. The stage will be completely different. The look and feel of the service will be refreshingly low key.

If you have creative (or obvious) ideas on how we can change things up, please comment! We value outside opinions. Yes, this means you.

To give you direction, how can we make the cafeteria more like a “living room”?

    How about a couch?

  2. As long as I get to sit between Kyle “cockroach” Volkmer and my wife.

I love your idea for the new look. We need it to feel homey and family oriented. What could we ask people to bring to make it feel more comfortable and help the mood. I’ve got this really cool blue robe from J.C. Penny’s that my in laws got me for Christmas.

Everyone could bring their remotes and toe nail clippers…

We could also bring those cool little TV stands and eat pizza pockets…

On a more serious note, since I don’t really think pizza bites count as communion, how about changing up the lighting a little, some living rooms look comfortable because of the softer lighting.

  5. Well, I have taken quite a close look on your website and I must say that I find it extraordinarily interesting. You can be sure that I will come back pretty soon.
